The gateway reads your refrigeration controllers over Modbus
The ModbusCloud Gateway reads your refrigeration controllers over Modbus RTU (RS485) or Modbus TCP.
The data goes to the portal encrypted, where you see all your sites in one overview. If something is off, you get an alert, often before your customer notices.

Detect faults early
The evaporator temperature rises slowly and the suction pressure drops below the setpoint. You see the trend in the dashboard and plan a service visit before the system fails. That saves an emergency callout and lost stock.
Temperature history for HACCP
All refrigeration temperatures are recorded and stay available for 365 days, including nights and weekends. Export them as CSV or as a PDF report for the inspector. If a limit is exceeded, you get an alert.
Multi-site overview
All your customers' sites are in one overview. The map shows the status of each site and where action is needed, without calling around.

The Danfoss AK-CC55, EKC 202D1 and ERC 21x, the Pego ECP 202 and the Eastron meters have a template ready. For other Danfoss controllers and those from Carel, Dixell and Eliwell, we build the template for free as soon as we have the register data. You can also set up the registers yourself.

Connected in three steps
Connect
Run an RS485 cable with two wires, A and B, from the refrigeration controller to the gateway.
Scan
Enter the serial number in the portal and start a scan. The gateway recognises the controllers and meters from the library. For any other controller, we build the template for free as soon as we have the register data.
Monitor
See temperatures, pressures and operating states per site. Set up alerts, for example when a cold room goes above −16 °C.

F-gas Regulation (EU 2024/573)
With a leak detection system installed, the mandatory leak checks may be less frequent. The gateway reads what the leak detector or controller reports over Modbus, and you get an alert on it.

HACCP (EU 852/2004)
Temperatures are recorded and stay available for 365 days. Use PDF reports as evidence in an audit. If a limit is exceeded, you get an alert.
- 2030
EPBD and BACS obligation
Since December 2024, buildings with HVAC systems above 290 kW must have a building automation system. From 2030 the threshold drops to 70 kW.
