The ModbusCloud Gateway with the RS485 terminal and the antenna connectors

Sunway Wattsonic is a hybrid solar inverter platform combining PV input, battery storage and grid interaction in a single unit. Installers typically deploy Sunway systems in residential and light-commercial self-consumption setups where homeowners want to maximise own-use, buffer excess PV into a battery and keep visibility on what flows to and from the grid.

ModbusCloud ships separate templates for the PV, battery and grid sides of the Sunway Wattsonic, so you can pull each stream into your portal with correct scaling, register addresses and data types already mapped. Over Modbus you get PV generation, battery state of charge, charge and discharge power, and grid import and export — the numbers that matter when validating a self-consumption ratio or troubleshooting why a battery isn't cycling. No manufacturer PDF, no register hunt.

All three Sunway templates are free to browse in the ModbusCloud library. Import them with a click into your portal and start reading live PV, battery and grid data within minutes.
