Plexlog Modbus templates
All 4 available Plexlog templates for ModbusCloud.
Monitor Plexlog dataloggers and connected solar plants through one ModbusCloud dashboard.
Plexlog makes dataloggers used to aggregate measurement data from solar plants — the Plexlog Datalogger sits between the PV inverters, meters, and battery at a site and hands their readings off over Modbus. If you install or service sites built around a Plexlog, you already know the logger is the natural place to read the whole plant from: PV roles, grid roles, and battery roles all meet there, and pulling them out as one consistent stream is exactly what a monitoring portal needs.
ModbusCloud templates cover the Plexlog Datalogger and the Plexlog roles for pv, grid and battery. Over Modbus you read PV generation, grid import and export, battery state of charge, battery charge and discharge power, and the logger's own status. Alerts fire when PV generation deviates from expected, when grid feed-in stops, or when the Plexlog itself drops offline — before the owner notices the monthly yield is short.
All four Plexlog templates are free to browse. Import one into your ModbusCloud portal and read live data within minutes, no register hunting and no manufacturer PDFs.
What you can read out
- PV generation at plant level
- Grid import and export power
- Battery state of charge
- Battery charge and discharge power
- Datalogger status and uptime
Typical installations
- Commercial PV plants where a Plexlog Datalogger aggregates inverters and meters
- Hybrid sites with PV, grid, and battery all read through a single Plexlog
- Service portfolios where installers monitor Plexlog-based plants across locations
