SAJ makes residential and light-commercial solar inverters — the R5 string inverter, R5_V1 variant, and the H1 and H2 hybrid series with integrated battery control. You see SAJ hardware in single-phase PV installs, self-consumption systems with a battery, and small rooftop arrays where the inverter talks over RS485. Installers servicing these sites need a straightforward way to pull live values from the RS485 port without running service software each visit.
Modbuscloud ships eight SAJ templates covering the R5 string inverter and the H1 and H2 hybrid series over Modbus RTU, with hybrid templates split into PV, grid, and battery register groups. Each template maps the SAJ register layout so you can read PV string voltages and power, total yield, grid frequency and voltage, grid import and export, and on the H1 and H2 also battery state of charge and charge or discharge power. Connect the MCG-1 gateway to the inverter's RS485 bus and the template does the rest.
