SAJ H2 Series Hybrid Solar Inverter (pv)
SAJ
Overview
The SAJ H2 Series Hybrid Solar Inverter is a hybrid photovoltaic inverter for on-grid and off-grid residential and commercial solar installations. It feeds PV generation to local loads first, charges a connected battery with surplus energy, and exports any remaining power to the grid. This Modbus TCP template reads two core PV registers from the H2 Series Hybrid Solar Inverter: instantaneous output power and cumulative energy production. Use it in the ModbusCloud portal to track solar yield over time and correlate generation with consumption or export at any site.
Use cases
- Monitor instantaneous PV output power to detect shading or soiling losses during daylight hours.
- Track cumulative energy production daily and monthly to verify expected solar yield against forecasts.
- Alert on a sudden drop in the power register to identify inverter faults or grid disconnection events.
- Compare energy totals across multiple H2 Series sites in the ModbusCloud multi-site overview.
