Overview
The INTILION scalebloc energy is a commercial AC-coupled lithium-ion battery storage system designed for peak shaving, self-consumption optimisation, and load management at commercial and industrial sites. This template reads grid parameters from the energy meter connected to the scalebloc: per-phase voltages (L1-N, L2-N, L3-N), per-phase currents (L1, L2, L3), and per-phase active and apparent power values at the grid connection point. All registers use Modbus TCP via the XF13 Ethernet port of the master unit, with a scaling resolution of 0.1. Connecting the ModbusCloud Gateway to the scalebloc's network gives installers and facility managers continuous visibility into three-phase grid behaviour without accessing the INTILION web interface.
Use cases
- Monitor per-phase voltages continuously to detect sustained voltage imbalance across L1, L2, and L3.
- Track per-phase active power to verify that grid import and export remain within contracted capacity limits.
- Alert on unexpected current spikes on any phase to catch wiring faults or load imbalances early.
