Acrel Modbus templates
All 3 available Acrel templates for ModbusCloud.
Monitor Acrel ADW300 energy meters across EV charging, grid, and PV roles from one ModbusCloud portal.
Acrel makes the ADW300 multifunction energy meter, used on grid connections, PV feed-ins, and EV charging circuits where a single compact meter has to cover all three measurement roles. If you install Acrel ADW300 meters on a site that combines a grid tie, a PV array and an EV charger, you already juggle three measurement contexts from one device — and reading them into one portal means you only configure once.
ModbusCloud templates cover the Acrel ADW300 in its charge, grid, and pv roles. Over Modbus you read active energy totals, per-phase voltage and current, active power, and the directional registers that distinguish import from export and PV production from EV consumption. Alerts fire when a phase drops out, when EV charging consumption deviates from expected session patterns, or when an Acrel meter stops responding on the bus — without manual readouts per panel.
All three Acrel templates are free to browse. Import one into your ModbusCloud portal and read live data within minutes, no register hunting and no manufacturer PDFs.
What you can read out
- Active energy totals per role
- Per-phase voltage and current
- Active power per phase
- Import and export power direction
- EV charging circuit consumption
Typical installations
- Residential grid connections with PV feed-in and an EV wallbox on a shared panel
- Small commercial sites where Acrel meters cover grid, PV, and EV circuits
- Submetering panels where installers need separate grid, PV, and charge readings
