Ampere Modbus templates

Ampere supplies the Ampere.StoragePro hybrid system, used in residential and small commercial installations where a single unit has to handle the PV string, battery storage, and grid connection. If you install or service Ampere.StoragePro, the whole system is designed to be one physical device — which makes the telemetry coherent, but means you still need a way to read the three functional roles (pv, battery, grid) without manually mapping registers yourself.

ModbusCloud templates cover the Ampere.StoragePro roles for battery, grid, and pv. Over Modbus you read PV input power, battery state of charge, battery charge and discharge power, grid import and export, and inverter status flags. Alert rules fire when PV power or battery state of charge crosses a threshold you set, or when an inverter status flag reports a fault, and an offline alarm you switch on tells you when the ModbusCloud Gateway goes silent. That gives you a per-site view without depending on the owner's app.
