Solax Modbus templates

Solax builds PV inverters for residential and small-commercial sites — the X3 Hybrid G2, the X1 and X3 Hybrid G3 and G4 families with battery support, the X3-MIC G2, and the X3-PRO G2 string inverters. You see Solax boxes on single-family rooftops, small apartment blocks, and light-commercial installs where the same inverter covers PV generation and battery storage. Installers need to see live yield, grid behaviour, and battery state without opening the installer menu each visit.

Modbuscloud ships eight Solax templates over Modbus TCP, with the X1/X3 hybrid range split into PV, grid, and battery views so you can chart each side separately. Each template maps the Solax register layout: PV string power, total yield, grid voltage and frequency, grid import and export, and on the hybrid G3/G4 and X3 Hybrid G2 also battery state of charge and charge or discharge power. Point the MCG-1 gateway at the inverter over TCP and the template takes care of the register addresses.
