Overview
The GoodWe ET/EH/BH/BT is a hybrid solar inverter series covering single- and three-phase residential and light-commercial PV installations with integrated battery storage support. This Modbus TCP template reads per-string DC power across up to four MPPT inputs (power_a through power_d) and the cumulative total PV energy yield. Using these registers in the ModbusCloud Gateway, installers can track real-time generation per string and long-term yield, enabling string-level fault detection and yield verification without a proprietary cloud dependency.
Use cases
- Monitor per-string DC power in real time to detect shadowing or soiling on individual PV strings.
- Compare power_a through power_d to verify balanced string sizing after system commissioning.
- Track the total energy register over time to verify actual yield against the installer's modelled estimate.
- Alert on a sudden drop in one string's power while others remain active, indicating a string-level fault.
