Tepto Avocado Pro (pv)
Tepto
Overview
The Tepto Avocado Pro is an all-in-one balcony solar storage and inverter system developed together with FoxESS, targeting residential plug-and-play PV installations. This template reads the device over Modbus TCP, exposing two PV-side registers: instantaneous generation power at address 39118 and cumulative generated energy at address 39149. Supported variants include the Avocado, Avocado Pro, MQ2200, and ONE. With these two readings in the ModbusCloud portal, you can track real-time solar output and log historical yield without any manual data export.
Use cases
- Monitor instantaneous PV generation power to verify the system is producing during daylight hours.
- Track cumulative energy yield over time to calculate daily, monthly, and annual production totals.
- Alert on unexpected drops in PV power during clear-sky periods to detect shading or inverter faults.
- Compare logged energy values across multiple Avocado Pro units installed across different sites.
