Victron Meter AcIn
Victron
Overview
The Victron Meter AcIn is a Modbus TCP register view into the AC-input measurement of a Victron Multi or Quattro inverter/charger, accessed through a Victron GX device such as the Cerbo GX or Venus GX acting as a gateway. This template reads the per-phase voltage, current, active power, and grid frequency at the AC-input terminals across all three phases. With these ten registers, your ModbusCloud portal can continuously track the quality and load of the grid connection feeding the Victron system, enabling alerts, trend analysis, and integration into broader site energy monitoring.
Use cases
- Monitor per-phase AC-input voltage on all three phases to detect grid sags or swells in real time.
- Track per-phase active power on L1, L2, and L3 to verify balanced load distribution across the AC input.
- Alert on grid frequency deviations at the AC-input connection to spot supply instability early.
- Compare AC-input current per phase over time to identify progressive load growth before capacity limits are reached.
