Victron Meter AcOut
Victron
Overview
Victron Meter AcOut is a Modbus TCP virtual meter that surfaces the AC output measurements of a Victron Multi or Quattro inverter-charger, read through a Victron GX device acting as a Modbus TCP gateway. The template reads per-phase voltage, current, frequency, and active power on all three output phases, plus six cumulative energy counters tracking power flow between AC input 1, AC input 2, the AC output bus, and the battery. This gives installers and asset managers a complete picture of what critical loads connected to the AC output are actually consuming.
Use cases
- Monitor per-phase AC output voltage and current to detect load imbalances across three phases.
- Track active power on each output phase to verify that critical loads stay within inverter capacity.
- Compare energy_from_battery_to_ac_out against energy_from_ac_in_1_to_ac_out to audit how much battery discharge supports connected loads.
- Alert on unexpected drops in output frequency to catch inverter stress or grid instability events early.
