Modbus RTU
Anker Micro inverter (pv)
Anker
Overview
The Anker Micro inverter is a panel-level, grid-tied PV inverter designed for residential and small commercial solar installations. This ModbusCloud template communicates over Modbus RTU via RS485 and reads two core registers: instantaneous AC output power and cumulative energy production. With these two data points in your portal, you can track real-time generation output and long-run yield from each Anker Micro inverter unit, giving installers and building owners a clear view of solar performance over time.
Use cases
- Monitor real-time AC output power to verify the Anker Micro inverter is producing at expected levels during daylight hours.
- Track cumulative energy production over weeks and months to identify gradual yield degradation.
- Alert on power readings that drop to zero during daylight to detect inverter faults or communication loss quickly.
- Compare daily energy totals across multiple Anker Micro inverter units to spot underperforming panels on a site.
