All register values read as zero or NaN. What is wrong?

The Aplus only outputs valid float values when a measurement precondition is met. If voltage inputs are not connected or the system type is misconfigured in CB-Manager, the device substitutes a default value. Verify that the correct wiring system (e.g. three-phase four-wire) is selected in the device parameters and that voltage inputs are live.

Values look correct in magnitude but are clearly wrong in phase assignment.

The Aplus float32 registers use IEEE 754 encoding spanning two consecutive 16-bit holding registers, with the high word first. If your Modbus master reads word order incorrectly, per-phase values will be swapped or garbled. Confirm your gateway uses big-endian (high-word-first) word order for float32 register pairs.

The Gateway connects but no data appears after importing the template.

Check that the Modbus address set on the Aplus matches the unit ID in your portal, that baud rate and parity on the device and gateway agree, and that supply resistors are present at the bus master end. Up to 32 devices can share one RS485 bus, but each must have a unique address and identical communication settings.

Reactive power per-phase registers show units of W in the template. Is that correct?

The per-phase reactive power registers (reactive_power_l1, L2, L3) are listed with unit W in the template input but represent reactive power quantities. Treat them as var for display purposes. The total reactive_power register is correctly labelled var. Cross-check with the manufacturer register map if your installation requires certified metering accuracy.
