K Electric KE-P 5 Meter

Installation

1. 1Wire the RS-485 A and B terminals of the K'Electric KE-P 5 meter to the corresponding terminals on your ModbusCloud gateway (MCG or MLP series).
2. 2Set the Modbus slave address on the KE-P 5 meter using its front panel or configuration tool, and note the address for later use.
3. 3Confirm the meter baud rate is set to 19200, matching the default for this template.
4. 4Log in to the ModbusCloud portal, add your gateway, and import the K'Electric KE-P 5 template from the template library.
5. 5Enter the Modbus slave address you configured on the meter and save the device settings.
6. 6Verify that live readings such as voltage, current, and power appear correctly on the dashboard before closing the electrical panel.
