Overview
The Qcells Q.VOLT P5T-X is a three-phase string inverter for residential and light-commercial PV installations, sold alongside the Q.VOLT P17T-X and the underlying SolaX X3-MIC G2 and X3-PRO G2 platforms. This ModbusCloud template communicates over Modbus RTU via the inverter's RS485 port and reads two grid-side registers: instantaneous grid power and cumulative grid energy. Monitoring these two values gives installers and building owners a continuous, vendor-independent record of import and export at the grid connection point, directly in the ModbusCloud portal.
