Salda RIS 700 VE EKO 3.0 RVP 485P

Installation

1. 1Connect the ModbusCloud gateway (MCG or MLP series) to the RVP 485P module via a shielded twisted pair RS-485 cable, wiring A to A and B to B terminals.
2. 2Set the Modbus slave address on the RVP 485P controller to match the address configured in the ModbusCloud template, typically address 1 if only one unit is on the bus.
3. 3Confirm the communication settings on the RVP 485P are set to 19200 baud, odd parity, and 8 data bits, matching the template defaults.
4. 4Import the Salda RIS 700 VE EKO 3.0 template from the ModbusCloud library into your gateway configuration.
5. 5Power on the air handling unit, verify that register values such as exhaust temperature and fan status appear correctly on the ModbusCloud dashboard.
6. 6Terminate the RS-485 bus with a 120 ohm resistor at the last device if the cable run exceeds 10 meters or if communication errors occur.
