Why does the power register always read zero or null?

Address 30005 returns grid power collected from the grid sensor. If no external grid sensor or gateway meter is connected and configured in the mySigen app, the register reports zero. Confirm the grid sensor connection status at address 30004, which should read 1 for connected, before troubleshooting further.

Phase B and C current registers show invalid values. What is wrong?

Registers 31019 and 31021 for phases B and C are only valid when the inverter output type is three-phase (L1/L2/L3 or L1/L2/L3/N). On single-phase installations the output type register at 31004 will be 0 (L/N), and phase B and C current registers are documented as invalid. Verify the output type register before relying on those values.

The Gateway connects but no register values appear in the portal.

Ensure Modbus TCP is enabled in the mySigen app and that port 502 is open and reachable from the Gateway's network segment. Verify the unit ID matches: use 247 for plant-level registers or the inverter's configured slave address for inverter-specific registers. Also confirm the inverter firmware is SPC109 or newer, as older firmware may not expose all registers reliably.

Energy register values look implausibly large. Is there a scaling issue?

The energy register at 30562 is a raw uint64 value. The Sigenergy Modbus protocol applies a gain factor of 100 for energy registers in kWh. If your integration does not apply this scaling, the displayed number will be 100 times the actual accumulated energy. Check that your template scaling configuration divides the raw value by 100 before displaying it in your dashboard.
