Fronius is an Austrian specialist in solar inverter technology, with installations across residential, commercial and utility-scale PV. The 4 Fronius Modbus templates in our library cover the general Fronius Modbus TCP interface, Modbus TCP with Integer plus scale-factor (SunSpec-compliant) registers, the Fronius GEN24 hybrid inverter, and the Fronius SnapInverter range with Modbus RTU connectivity.
With ModbusCloud and these Fronius Modbus RTU/TCP templates you read AC and DC voltage, current, active power, frequency, lifetime energy production and MPPT temperatures. The GEN24 template combines Solar API access with SunSpec Modbus TCP to manage battery charging and discharging, with configurable charge windows and fixed-capacity settings. All inverter data comes as scaled engineering values, no manual SunSpec decoding on the client side.
All 4 Fronius templates are free to browse. Import one into your ModbusCloud portal to pull live PV production and battery flow into energy-management or self-consumption dashboards.
