Installation

1. 1Connect the ModbusCloud gateway (MCG or MLP series) to the same local network as the ETA boiler controller, ensuring both devices can communicate over Modbus TCP.
2. 2Verify that Modbus TCP is enabled on the ETA boiler controller and note its IP address and port number.
3. 3Configure the Modbus TCP connection in the ModbusCloud portal by entering the ETA boiler's IP address and the correct port.
4. 4Import the ETA Heating template from the ModbusCloud template library and assign it to the connected gateway.
5. 5Confirm that live data appears on the dashboard by checking boiler temperature and buffer tank sensor readings against the local display on the ETA controller.
6. 6Set up desired controls such as room setpoint temperatures and hot water setpoints, then verify correct operation on the boiler side.
