Overview
The Ginlong Solis Inverter (pv) is a grid-tied solar PV string inverter that converts DC power from photovoltaic panels into AC power for on-site use or grid export. This Modbus RTU template reads two core registers over the RS485 interface: instantaneous AC output power and cumulative energy yield. Connecting this template in the ModbusCloud portal gives installers and asset managers a live production view and a running generation total, without relying on the Ginlong cloud or a proprietary monitoring stick.

- Monitor real-time AC output power to verify the inverter is producing as expected during daylight hours.
- Track cumulative energy yield over weeks and months to detect gradual output degradation.
