Installation

1. 1Connect the ModbusCloud gateway (MCG or MLP series) to the same local network as the PZP HP 3 BW heat pump controller via Ethernet.
2. 2Ensure Modbus TCP is enabled on the PZP heat pump controller and note the IP address and port number configured on the device.
3. 3In the ModbusCloud portal, add a new device and select the PZP HP 3 BW template from the template library.
4. 4Enter the heat pump IP address and Modbus TCP port in the gateway configuration, then verify communication by checking live register values.
5. 5Review dual-purpose registers at addresses 60001, 60100, 60400, and 60401 to confirm correct read and write behavior for your installation.
6. 6Test control functions by adjusting the heating temperature setpoint and verifying the change on the heat pump display.
