Overview
The Siemens SICAM T 7KG966 is a multifunctional digital measuring transducer for acquiring electrical quantities in industrial and utility power supply systems, including 1-phase, 3-wire, and 4-wire installations. This Modbus TCP template reads per-phase voltage and current for all three phases, per-phase and total active power, per-phase and total reactive power, and grid frequency. All values are delivered as IEEE 754 32-bit floats via function code 3 holding registers. Connecting the SICAM T 7KG966 to ModbusCloud Gateway gives installers and facility managers a continuous, cloud-based view of load balance, power quality, and energy flow without additional metering hardware.
