The ModbusCloud Gateway with the RS485 terminal and the antenna connectors

Intesis (part of HMS Networks) produces purpose-built protocol gateways that expose proprietary AC buses as standard Modbus RTU registers. The 5 Intesis Modbus RTU templates in our library cover the generic IntesisBox, the DK-RC-MBS-1 gateway for Daikin Sky Air and VRV systems, INMBSLGE001R000 for LG air conditioners, INMBSPAN001R000 and PA-RC2-MBS-1 for Panasonic (and Sanyo) AC units.

With ModbusCloud and these Intesis Modbus RTU templates you read and write on/off, operation mode, fan speed, vane position, temperature setpoint, and alarm status across a wide range of AC brands. The gateway handles all protocol translation, so a ModbusCloud integration looks the same whether the AC beneath it is Daikin VRV, LG, or Panasonic. Error codes and unit faults are surfaced as read-only registers for alerting and remote diagnostics.

All 5 Intesis templates are free to browse. Import one into your ModbusCloud portal to unify AC control across mixed-vendor installations without touching manufacturer-specific firmware.
