Modbus TCP is enabled but the gateway cannot connect. Why?

Power reads a large unexpected value or all zeros at midday. Why?

Register 40521 is an int32, so a missing sign extension or wrong byte order in the client can produce garbage. Ensure the ModbusCloud Gateway uses big-endian word order, which is standard for Huawei Modbus TCP. Also confirm the unit ID targets the correct production meter, not the grid meter, as the same register address maps to different values depending on device type.

The SmartLogger serves multiple inverters. Which unit ID do I use?

Each device behind the SmartLogger has its own logical Modbus address. For plant-level PV production totals, use the logical address assigned to the aggregated production meter or inverter group as shown in the SmartLogger device list. Reading with the wrong ID will return values for a different device or trigger an exception.
