Overview
ZCS Azzurro Inverter (pv) is a photovoltaic string and hybrid inverter by ZCS Azzurro, designed for residential and small commercial solar installations. The ModbusCloud template connects to the device over Modbus RTU via RS485 and reads two core registers: instantaneous PV output power (address 533) and cumulative energy generated (address 540). With these values in your portal you can track real-time production, calculate yield over time, and detect performance anomalies before they affect your energy balance.

- Monitor instantaneous PV power output to verify the inverter is producing at expected levels during peak sun hours.
- Track cumulative energy generation over weeks and months to identify seasonal yield variations.
- Alert on a sudden drop in power register 533 to catch shading faults, blown fuses, or string failures early.
