Sermatec Modbus templates

Sermatec builds low-voltage hybrid inverters for residential and light-commercial PV with battery storage — the SMT-5K-TL-LV and SMT-10K-TL-LV. Both models combine PV generation, grid exchange, and battery management in a single unit and expose separate register blocks for each side. Installers come across Sermatec hardware in self-consumption setups and small rooftop projects where the same box handles everything from the string input to the battery output.

Modbuscloud ships six Sermatec templates via Modbus, with each of the SMT-5K-TL-LV and SMT-10K-TL-LV split into PV, grid, and battery views. Each template maps the Sermatec register layout so you can pull PV string power, total yield, grid voltage and frequency, grid import and export, and battery state of charge along with charge or discharge power into your dashboard. The MCG-1 gateway connects to the inverter and the template handles the register addresses.
