Overview
The Sermatec SMT-5K-TL-LV Hybrid Inverter is a single-phase residential hybrid inverter that manages power flow across PV generation, battery storage, the utility grid, and local loads. This ModbusCloud template reads the grid power register at address 16407 over Modbus TCP, giving you a live signed watt reading that shows whether the site is importing from or exporting to the grid. Connecting a Sermatec SMT-5K-TL-LV or SMT-10K-TL-LV to the ModbusCloud portal takes seconds and puts that grid power value into dashboards, alerts, and long-term trend reports.
