Overview
The Sermatec SMT-10K-TL-LV is a single-phase all-in-one hybrid inverter for residential solar and battery storage installations, supporting PV input, battery, grid, and load interfaces with on-grid and off-grid switching. This ModbusCloud template connects via Modbus RTU over RS485 and reads three holding registers: the two-part power multiplier pair (power_mul_a and power_mul_b) used to derive inverter power, and the battery state of charge. Monitoring these registers through the ModbusCloud portal lets installers track battery status and verify inverter operation from a single dashboard without on-site visits.
