The E+E Elektronik EE671 is a compact air velocity probe for HVAC applications. This Modbus RTU template reads airflow speed (m/s) and temperature (°C) from the device using float32 registers. No writable controls are included.

Installation
1Wire the EE671 probe to the ModbusCloud gateway (MCG or MLP series) using a shielded RS-485 cable, connecting A, B, and GND terminals.
2Set the EE671 Modbus slave address using the configuration method described in the device manual, and note the address for gateway setup.
3Configure the ModbusCloud gateway serial port to 9600 baud, odd parity, and 1 stop bit to match the EE671 default communication settings.
4Import the E+E Elektronik EE671 template from the ModbusCloud template library and assign it to the correct gateway port and slave address.
5Verify that airflow (m/s) and temperature (°C) values appear on the ModbusCloud dashboard, and confirm readings match expected conditions in the duct.
