ONOKOM is a Russian OEM that makes Modbus RTU bridge gateways for a wide range of air conditioner brands. The MB-B series lets a single ONOKOM gateway translate the proprietary bus of an AC brand, Hisense HS, Daikin DK, Midea MD, Mitsubishi Heavy MH, Gree GR, TCL, Haier HR, AUX, Hitachi, into standard Modbus RTU registers that any BMS or monitoring platform can read. Because the protocol translation happens inside the gateway, the AC itself keeps its native controls and warranty.
With ModbusCloud, an ONOKOM gateway gives you remote visibility into indoor and outdoor temperatures, AC connection status, error codes, fan speed, vane positions, and operating mode. Modbus RTU writes let you set modes, fan speed, vanes, and target temperature for each connected unit. For VRF/VRV variants (HS-VRF, MD-VRF, CG-VRF), a single ONOKOM gateway exposes up to 64 indoor units as separate addressable register blocks.
