You can order without signing in and without a password. The order goes to the portal account of the email address you enter at checkout. The website itself has no account. All amounts on this page are excl. VAT.
Build your order
In the webshop you choose the number of gateways, the licence and the accessories.
Open the webshop
Open the webshop.
Enter the quantity
In Number of gateways, enter the quantity. From 10 and from 25 gateways, the price per gateway is lower.
Choose the licence
Under Portal, choose the licence Per year or One-off. Your choice applies to all gateways in the order. The difference is explained in The portal licence.
Choose the 4G data
If you chose One-off, choose Prepay or Per month under 4G data. With Per year, the 4G data is included and you choose nothing.
Choose the accessories
If you want a power supply or a DIN rail kit, select Power supply or DIN rail kit. You get one per gateway.
Go to checkout
Click Go to checkout.
For 50 gateways or more, ModbusCloud prepares a quote. The webshop then shows a form instead of the Go to checkout button. Enter your Email address and Company name in it. Then click Request a quote.
Check out
On the Checkout page you enter your details and pay with Stripe.
Enter your contact details
Under Contact details, enter your Name and Email address. Use the address you sign in with, or want to sign in with, in the portal.
Enter your company
Under Company, enter the Company name. If you have a VAT number, enter it in VAT number.
Enter the billing address
Under Billing address, enter your Street and number, Postcode and City.
Choose the country
In Country, choose the country of your billing address.
Select another delivery address
If the order must go to a different address, select Deliver to a different address.
Enter the delivery address
If you selected that, enter the address under Delivery address.
Accept the terms
Select I agree to the terms and conditions and the privacy policy.
Go to the payment
Click Pay. You go to the Stripe payment page.
Complete the payment
Pay at Stripe with the payment method you choose. The webshop then shows Order received.
If you cancel the payment at Stripe, you return to Checkout with the message The payment was not completed.
VAT
The VAT you pay depends on the country of your billing address and on your VAT number. The table shows the four cases.

The webshop checks a VAT number from another EU country with VIES, the EU check for VAT numbers. If VIES rejects the number, checkout stops with a message at VAT number. Correct the number, or leave the field empty and pay 21% VAT.
A delivery address in another country never lowers the VAT. If the billing address is outside the EU and the delivery address is inside it, you pay 21%. The same applies to a VAT number from another EU country with a delivery address in the Netherlands.
Shipping and accessories
Shipping costs apply per order and depend on the country of the delivery address. Shipping to the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany is free. To another EU country it costs €14.95, outside the EU €39. You pay the same VAT on shipping as on the rest of the order.
A power supply and a DIN rail kit are only in the box if you order them. A power supply costs €9.45 each and a DIN rail kit for a 35 mm DIN rail costs €13 each. How to mount and power the gateway is described in Mount the gateway and connect the power supply.
After the payment
After the payment you receive two emails at the email address of the order. The confirmation email shows the order number and the amounts. The invoice arrives in a separate email. If Stripe completes the payment later, the emails arrive as soon as the money is in.
If no account exists for that email address yet, the webshop creates one. With the Log in to the portal button in the confirmation email, you sign in without a password. How that works and how you then create your organisation is described in Sign in and create your organisation.
The order starts with the status Paid and then moves to Processing, Shipped and Delivered. You receive an email at each next status. The Track shipment button is in the email for Shipped and at the order in the portal. When the gateway has arrived, start with Connect the gateway.
Download invoices
You download the invoice of an order as a PDF in the portal.
Open the orders
Go to Settings > Orders. You see your orders with order number, date, status and total.
Open the order
Click the order number.
Download the invoice
Click Download invoice. Your browser saves the invoice as a PDF.
If your order is not there, sign in with the email address of the order. If that account has no password yet, set one with Forgot password? on the portal sign-in screen. The steps are in Signing in does not work.
An invoice for the renewal of an annual licence or for 4G data is not under Orders. You only receive it by email. When 4G data is invoiced is described in 4G data and costs.
An order belongs to one account, not to your organisation. A team member therefore does not see your orders and invoices. If an order has no Download invoice button, or something is wrong on an invoice, contact us on the support page. The same applies if your billing address has changed. Give your order number.
